Job Description:

The primary duty of the Marketing & Administrative Intern is to work with the Marketing Manager to execute company objectives for the set quota per week. The intern will be building brand and company awareness, gain exposure to, and trail through various promotional activities.

Essential Duties:

· Responsible for maintaining tour elements of crobar @ Exit 66 (if required)
· Execute in-store audits of POP displays for product and competitors (invitations, promotional posters, crobar @ Exit 66 merchandise)
· Daily communication with crobar @ Exit 66 Management
· Pre-event and event day logistics – work with event contacts
· Flawless execution of all events
· On-the-ground interaction with clients (brand team, local bottlers and agency reps)
· Pick-up and distribution of all marketing materials.
· Timely online event recap reporting (recaps to be posted within 48 hours of event completion)
· Administrative paperwork (event function order, database generation)
· Draft and generate proposals and generate contracts and invoices.
· Meet with clients as necessary
· Coordinate the following events:
Weddings/Receptions, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Corporate/Company, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Private Parties, Fetish Parties, Reunions, School Events, Graduation Parties, High Schools, College Events, Children’s Parties, Teen Nights, Bachelor/Bachelorette, Picnic/Luncheon/BBQ, Sporting Events, Ethnic Events, Bridal Shower, Retirement Party, Fundraiser, Senior Events, Meet-Ups, Professional Organizations/Groups, Religious Events, Holiday Events, City Wide Events.

Qualifications:

• Be able to work weekend nights in a bar/nightlife atmosphere
• Have reliable transportation
• Attend all mandatory training and marketing meetings
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work with multiple retailers/store managers
• Clean-cut, neat appearance
• Dependable, daily internet access and basic computer/internet skills
• Part-time availability September 1, 2005 – December 15, 2005
• Weekends are a MUST
• Candidate will work closely with Project Manager

REQUIREMENTS

• The ability to think creatively with implementation abilities.
• The ability to talk live with clients in different settings.
• The selected candidate will possess excellent verbal, written, and telephone skills.
• The selected candidate will possess excellent presentation skills
• Individual must act in manner and appearance as a professional representative
of crobar @ Exit 66 and affiliates in any setting outside the home as this is a
unique social and networking position.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in the Hospitality, Bar & Nightclub Industries is a plus.
• Individual should have sufficient professional education, ideally in related
programs of study, or equivalent experience in the specific field
